Churchfields is a medium sized open space with quite a large grass area, a great haven for families and dog walkers.

Elmhurst Gardens
A beautiful park with a variety of mature trees which provide a 'vista' of colours particularly during autumn months and will appeal to keen artists and photographers.
There is a resting area in the centre of the park that has been recently landscaped and has been planted with shrubs and bulbs to provide an abundance of colour.

Lechmere Avenue play area
This open space allows visitors to get closer to nature and is great for strolling and dog walking as well as relaxing within the enclosure.

Onslow Gardens
Onslow Gardens has a large central area, with woodland to one side and the M11 extension to the other.

Onslow Gardens forms part of Roding Valley Park, which is ancient woodland and is enriched in wildlife and gets visitors a little closer to nature. There are numerous events that happen within this area organised by the Nature Conservation team.

Ray Park
Ray Park is a large park which boasts a vast area of green space. It benefits from a mature landscape and offers a great space for dog walking and leisurely strolls through the park and along the River Roding which runs next to the park.
Situated in a large residential area, the park is the hub, offering a variety of activities for families. It’s a great space for informal sport and has tennis courts and a full size football pitch.
The Nature Conservation Team are based at the James Leal Centre offering talks, events and information regarding nature and history. The Centre has a café offering a selection of beverages and fresh food.

Roding Valley Park
The Roding Valley Park extends from Redbridge Roundabout in the south to the Redbridge boundary in the north.
The River Roding, which flows through the park, is a lowland clay river and provides an ideal setting for a number of recreational activities as well as walking and cycling.
Along the river you will find plenty of ducks, herons, dragonflies, butterflies and many different species of flowers. There are also a number of small areas of woodland for you to explore.

Rose Avenue play area
The park comes full of equipment and apparatus for children.
The children's areas are fenced off from dogs and have safe surfacing beneath the equipment to minimise injury.
